On the forefront, Jessica has been involved with casting some of film and television’s biggest projects over the last 6 years. Sherman has worked with April Webster Casting since 2010, she has been involved with projects like Star Wars Episode 7, Star Trek Into Darkness, Bates Motel, and The Strain. As well as several smaller budget films that she has cast independently (including 2016 Sundance hit Sleight). Sherman founded A Cause for Entertainment to support the fight against Breast Cancer, she has walked the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer since 2010, when her grandmother was diagnosed with the disease. As an avid supporter, she was inspired to start her own organization to have a greater impact in the community.
Originally from just outside of Dallas, Texas, after college graduation Kristin Koch moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. At that time she would have told you it was the potential to work in horror films that caused her to move west, but as the years went on an organic path into comedy and children’s television presented itself and now makes up the strong foundation that has become her career. When she isn’t knee deep in scripts, Kristin contributes her time to A Cause for Entertainment because she knows the fight against breast cancer isn’t a solo one – it’s a team effort, and there is always room for more players on the roster. Do your part: help ACFE and give in any way you can!
Courtenay Taylor is a Los Angeles actor well known for her animation and video game voiceover roles. You can hear her dulcet tones on Cartoon Network’s Regular Show as well as in games like Fallout 4, Mass Effect and Resident Evil. She got involved in A Cause For Entertainment to honor her friend Jenn Lyon, who passed away from breast cancer at age 37. “She’s always on my mind, and this is one way to keep her close. No one should have to lose a loved one to this horrid disease. I know that every little effort adds up to save the lives of women and men we cherish. Let’s conquer cancer together!” *fist pump*
Alex Spear is proud and excited to be part of such an important event. Working in Current Programs at Warner Brothers Television, Spear wanted to find a way to help get involved and give back during his spare time. The ability to contribute to the hunt for a cure for something that ails so many is an honor. Thank you to all for help out, contribute or take part in this important event so that we can take a step forward in improving this world in any way we can.
